Amenities and Ambiance

A popular tourist destination, Coki Point Beach is on the northeast end of St. Thomas and offers stunning panoramic vistas. The calm, clear waters are perfect for diving or snorkeling among the coral reefs, where guests can view all types of colorful tropical fish. Lush green hills lie in the distance, while small, private beach homes are tucked away behind the beach.

Also, you have the option of trying the restaurant located right on Coki Point Beach. Every nation has its own cuisine, and the Virgin Islands is no different. One of the most enjoyable places to experience the local specialties is right next to the coast. Did you know that some hotels are happy to pack picnic lunches for their guests? Otherwise, street vendors and casual walk-up eateries will have take-out dishes you can bring to the beach.

The concession stand on-site could come in handy, even if you plan to have lunch elsewhere. Depending on the season and time of day, you may also be able to try local specialties from one of the local vendors who typically set up shop here.

There are public restrooms at this beach——something you'll appreciate if you bring the kids along. Shower facilities are available here, so you can clean off the sand before hitting more attractions. In addition, guests will have access to lounge chairs at this location. You'll find the waters off-shore to be clear and good for snorkeling, so grab some gear if you want to do some underwater exploration. With groups of cruise ship passengers visiting this beach Coki Point Beach can get rather crowded, but is a great place to people watch and has many amenities for guests. Still, you will want to be careful: Watch out for pickpockets and don't leave anything in your car.

Coki Point Beach including its assortment of comforts happens to be located within a major tourist area. If you would rather stay free of busy-beaches and crowded shores, it's a good cause to plan ahead for times when there are less people, maybe heading to the beach earlier in the day. Otherwise, you might risk all the amenities becoming overcrowded.
