Located off of the northeastern coast of St. Thomas, Coki Point Beach features a popular beach destination, perfect for the entire family. The coral reefs offshore are prime areas for snorkeling or diving among the colorful sea life, and guests can easily rent gear offshore as well as participate in a multitude of other watersports.

Positioned in Coki Point, 1.2 miles east-northeast of Anna's Retreat, this beach is on the North East coast of St. Thomas. You should consider stopping by whether or not you're staying nearby. The beaches found throughout the Virgin Islands are usually somewhat secluded and quiet, but Coki Point Beach stands out as a pleasant exception to this rule.

Access to the beach is provided via local Route 388. Before the road turns into Coki Point Road, there is a small car park area.

A popular tourist destination, Coki Point Beach is on the northeast end of St. Thomas and offers stunning panoramic vistas. The calm, clear waters are perfect for diving or snorkeling among the coral reefs, where guests can view all types of colorful tropical fish. Lush green hills lie in the distance, while small, private beach homes are tucked away behind the beach.

Of course, you could always try the shoreside restaurant right on Coki Point Beach, which is the ultimate convenience for beachgoers. Beachgoers will find notice plenty of nice restaurants all around the Virgin Islands, but some meals are best enjoyed spontaneously, in a truly casual setting. Some vacationers have lunch right on their towels in the sand. With this in mind, you might ask your hotel if they offer to pack picnic lunches for their guests. Or, you could find just what you need from cafes and street vendors en route to the beach.

Happily, the off-shore waters are of good snorkeling quality, so bring your equipment if you're wanting to check out the underwater sites. With groups of cruise ship passengers visiting this beach Coki Point Beach can get rather crowded, but is a great place to people watch and has many amenities for guests. Still, you will want to be careful: Watch out for pickpockets and don't leave anything in your car.

You'll find this beach on the North East coast of St. Thomas. It is near Coral World Ocean Park, which is located a few hundred yards to the east, and it is one of a few area's attractions.

History-focused attractions such as Bluebeard's Castle are a nice compliment to the scenery of Coki Point Beach, and allow visitors to learn more about the Virgin Islands, without having to go too far from the beach. Actually, this coast is four miles from this site of historical significance.
