Mahogany Run Public Golf Course

Course Description

This golf course has become a classic place to hit a round of golf, since it was built in 1979. The lay of the land, holes, and bunkers all came from the imagination of George & Tom Fazio, the architect of Mahogany Run Public Golf Course. It has earned a course rating of 68.9, and its 18 holes have a total length of 5609 yards. Also be aware that they've got a golf professional, Nevin Philips, on-site who can help first-timers practice their skills or offer advanced help for seasoned players.

Located on the northern part of Charlotte Amalie amid the numerous island resorts in the area, the course is home to a great variety of native trees, including mango, palm, and as the name would suggest, mahogany. The fairways are kept green year-round, and with a couple of exceptions, are generous in their width. Greens are planted with Seashore Paspalum, while the fairways feature Bermuda Grass.
