Popular amongst anglers moreso than swimmers, Mandahl Bay is rather secluded. On any given day you can stop by and see a handful of people fishing from shore, and perhaps some visitors walking along the shore.
Located on the eastern edge of the island of St. Thomas, 1.7 miles northwest of Anna's Retreat, You might want even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. Many of the other beaches in the Virgin Islands may be just as breezy and refreshing, but are usually busier since they're near some of the most popular hotels.

You'll find this beach on the North coast of St. Thomas. It is near Mahogany Run Public Golf Course, which is not far from away. Some will choose to walk here, while others will want to take a taxi, and it is one of the favorite destinations in the area.

Of course, there are lots of other spots along the coast of St. Thomas, so Mandahl Bay Beach is not your only option.
Travelers who like this beach might also enjoy Renaissance Beach, situated within a mile or so. The north side of St. Thomas is home to Renaissance Beach, a haven of calm waves and an array of watersport opportunities, and is particularly popular with windsurfers. Others might prefer Lindquist Beach, which could provide more action, and isn't far from additional things to do and see nearby. It's found three miles to the southeast.
You may also want to consider Magens Bay, which is located a mile and a half away. Magens Bay, known throughout the world, is a stunning beach on St. Thomas with ample amenities and facilities for guests. However, this tourist stop can get extremely crowded and there is a small entrance fee.
You may find that Mandahl Bay Beach is a great fit for your vacation, but maybe you want to see more; in which case you should find a beach with a seclusion factor that suits you.
