Located on the south coast of St. Thomas, Morning Star Beach provides guests with a popular, developed beach area. Facing Frenchman's Bay and serving as the Frenchman's Reef Beach Resort, the beach features soft, comfortable sand and calm waves and is filled with guests and amenities. Snorkeling is great here when the current is calm, and lounge chairs can easily be rented.

Located on the southern side of the island of St. Thomas, You might think about stopping by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Eventually, visitors notice that beaches throughout the Virgin Islands tend to be somewhat quiet, but at Morning Star Beach your experience will be different.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is accessible from Frenchman Bay Road, which turns into Route 315. Drivers should follow the road until it ends, as it leads directly into a car park.

Amenities and Ambiance

Morningstar Beach lures guests to its shores with pretty white beaches and exciting entertainment. You'll find plenty of development along these shores, as resorts are a beachfront mainstay. Two coral reefs are good for snorkeling when the water is clear, and the area is good for other watersports activities as well.

The concession stand on-site could come in handy, even if you plan to have lunch elsewhere. You may also have the option to purchase food from one of the mobile vendors who operate at or near this spot.

There are public restrooms at this beach——something you'll appreciate if you bring the kids along. You will also be pleased to find chairs and umbrellas, so guests seeking relief from the sultry island sun will get their wish. Happily, the off-shore waters are clear enough for snorkeling, so bring your equipment if you're looking to see some exciting marine life. A good mixture of tourists and locals come out to Morningstar Beach to play in the sun and the surf.

However, be sure to keep in mind that even though there exists some forms of comforts present at Morning Star Beach, it is found inside an area commonly frequented by travelers. If you would rather stay free of busy-beaches and crowded shores, it'll be a decent motivator to make plans and beat the crowds, perhaps coming before the sun it at its hottest. If you come later, you might run the risk of all of the services becoming overwhelmed.

Other Beaches

Visitors searching for the perfect beach will have other options if Morning Star Beach doesn't suit their tastes.

If the vibrant atmosphere of Morning Star Beach is one of the features you love, think about checking out Limetree Beach, a spot with the same type of electricity. You'll find it three quarters of a mile to the east-southeast. Limetree Beach is on St. Thomas and, with its soft sands and beautiful scenery, it is a good casual spot for lounging in the sun or being active on the water, but its rocky entrance and rough waves are not good for swimmers.
