The Banana Tree Grille cooks to order dozens of tasty and juicy entrees. These include Angus Beef from New Zealand, veal, mahi-mahi, roasted chicken, and many other traditional dishes. As you can see, just because this is a steakhouse does not mean it can only cook steaks. With as many seafood options as beef, their selections such as orange ginger ahi-tuna and crab imperial stuffed grouper are some of the local favorites.

After dinner, do not forget to try their famous Key Lime Pie or a glass of dessert wine.

Lobster Grille

Lobster Grille is a part of Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, and is a good choice that's worth considering if you're visiting this side of the island. It is 2.8 miles southeast of Charlotte Amalie. Fresh fish from the Virgin Islands' coasts and eclectic panache both share the spotlight at this unique restaurant.

Lobster Grille is a two story open-air restaurant with architecture similar to what one might expect to find on an island in the Pacific. The view from each table is of the pool which glows neon blue at night.

Beachcomber Bar and Grill, which is on the premises of Island Beachcomber Hotel, is a popular choice that's worth considering if you're thinking about visiting this side of the island; it is two and a half miles (four kilometers) to the west of Charlotte Amalie. This enigmatic eatery can show multiple sides, so yes they're offering eclectic cuisine and appetizers, but it's also good at barbecue.

Expect a peaceful ambiance, where dining takes place out on a covered patio at tables with upscale patio furniture. Because the restaurant edges the beach, the view is of the sand and sea, lined with blue beach chairs and coconut palms.

Twisted Cork Cafe is found in Frenchtown, a neighborhood on St. Thomas; 0.9 miles to the west of Charlotte Amalie. With a following of food lovers, this destination isn't known simply for its eclectic delights and particularly seafood, but here they're also known for putting out great tapas.

Utilizing local produce -- even some plucked fresh from the on-site garden -- and seafood, this spot also bakes all of its breads and desserts daily.
