In 2008, a much needed dive shop opened on the tiny island of Staniel Cay, giving tourists who visit for a quiet getaway the chance to safely learn about and participate in scuba diving. Staniel Cay Divers offers this service through certification courses, daily dives, and equipment rentals.
With Staniel Cay Divers you get personalized service every time. Classes and dives always consist of less than 10 divers each time, and a PADI certified instructor and diver is always present.
Certification courses range from $180 for the beginner course to $1000(USD) for a private scuba rescue course. There are numerous options to choose from to enhance your skills, and discounted rates are available when you sign up with a friend.
Meanwhile, a one tank night dive is $110(USD), and prices go up from there. You'll spend $180 on a two tank day dive, $250 for three tanks, and $400 for four tanks. Private charters aboard the Cristal Clear are also available for those who'd like to make a day of it; sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and more. A half say trip is $1,200, while a full day is $2,400(USD).
The Cristal Clear Explorer is 38 foot boat with a 610 horsepower MAN Marine diesel engine. Customized specifically for diving, all of the appropriate safety equipment is available on the boat, as well as comfortable seating, a ladder and platform, a fresh water shower, and a cabin with four bunks.
