Anse Rodrigue

Just as accessible as any of the beaches on Terre-de-Haut, Anse Rodrique is one of the least crowded. Visitors who come to this cove will find themselves in the extreme south east of the island between two large cliffs. The cliffs, while they may confine your view, have the benefit of blocking rough waters from entering the cove, making Anse Rodrique a great spot for swimming.

Situated on the island of Terre-de-Haut, 2.9 miles east of Grand Anse, Anse Rodrigue is on the South East coast of the island, You should consider stopping by even if you are not staying nearby. If you're looking for a quiet part of the coast, away from crowded tourist attractions, you might really enjoy an afternoon at Anse Rodrigue.

How to Access The Beach

Luckily, the beach has its own named road. Starting at the airport, you can take Route de l'Anse Rodrigue Southeast all the way to the beach, where the road dead ends.

Amenities and Ambiance

While the beach is not that big, the lack of any build up or any major vegetation gives visitors more space than many other beaches of the same size.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

If you tend to go for coasts which bring visitors a serene place to escape, then maybe head on over to Anse Rodrigue; it's back within a more natural sector of Terre-de-Haut.
