Scuba Diving Near Terre de Haut

Although Guadeloupe allows tourists to scuba dive on their own and without the help of a licensed dive operator, it is still highly recommended that you hire an experienced local to take you out and under the sea for safety purposes.  That being said, some of the top dive spots surround Terre de Haut near Fort Napoleon, making there many opportunities to participate in the sport. 

You'll find two dive operators and at least 5 good dive sites in the area.

Dive Operators

La Dive Bouteille

If you'd like to go diving, you can check with La Dive Bouteille. La Dive offers PADI, CMAS, CMAS, and ANMP dive training for beginners and those who are looking to advance their skills. The dives, meanwhile, are all two-tanks and depart at 8:30 a.m., returning at around 12:30 p.m. They are located in central Terre de Haut.

A second option is Pisquettes Plongee. Specializing in training new divers and taking them out on their first dive, Pisquettes is a favorite scuba diving operation in the area. You can call them at (059) 099-8880.
