They have a well-equipped dive boat and a highly trained staff on hand to make sure everything goes off without a hitch -- they favor comfort, safety, and a friendly atmosphere over all else.
La Dive offers PADI, CMAS, CMAS, and ANMP dive training for beginners and those who are looking to advance their skills. The dives, meanwhile, are all two-tanks and depart at 8:30 a.m., returning at around 12:30 p.m. Those who do not have their own dive equipment can borrow some from the shop free of charge.
They have a large diving boat of 20 seats, on which they only take on board no more than around 10 divers. The diving mode is a two tank dive, that means that every diver has two cylinders and dives twice consequently and successively, but pauses between them and takes time to enjoy a cup of tea and some biscuits (no alcohol on board). Departure time is 8:30 a.m. and return time at the club at Terre de haut is 12:30 p.m. This arrangement allows the divers to dive twice a day, while enjoying the afternoon to discover the Saintes Islands.
The dive boat for this center is an aluminum barge powered by a Volvo 200 horsepower turbo which can hold up to 20 divers at once.
