Corito Bay Beach

Hidden on the south side of the island in between an industrial and residential area, few tourist make their way here. Though those that do will be treated to near total privacy and plenty of space to explore and spread out over.

Located on the island of Anguilla, Corito Bay Beach is on the South edge of the island, You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you are staying particularly close by. Corito Bay Beach is a hidden gem to some travelers: it offers an upbeat, social atmosphere, but is not constantly overrun with crowds. If you prefer to avoid Anguilla's quiet, secluded beaches, but also want a little space to spread out, this beach is right in the middle.

How to Access The Beach
There is direct road access to Corito Bay Beach, though some of the roads are a bit rough and in need of renovation. If you were arriving from the airport, the most direct path is to take The Valley Road Southwest and turning left as soon as the airport ends. You will then pass the beginning of the airport's runway, and not soon after will come to a fork in the road; take it left (as if heading back towards the airport). That road will curve right and begin heading south. Follow that road. When it curves again, you will see the beach along the left side of the road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Straddling the southern coast, Corito Beach features the same clean sand that can be found throughout South Anguilla. However, this beach is more natural than the others, and you should not be surprised to see some driftwood or seaweed washing up onshore. Additionally, the strip of sand can get narrow at points where grass and plants are taking over; so it may be a good idea to remember some shoes if you plan on walking the entire beach or doing much exploring.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location. The water in the area is of good snorkeling quality, so grab some equipment if you want to check out what lies beneath the surface.
