The rocky cliffs overhanging Little Bay make this beach feel like it could be magical, like it's name should be whispered. It's definitely a secret you should keep. The sand is velvety soft, the water is crystalline and the atmosphere is serene.

Positioned on the island of Anguilla, Little Bay is on the East coast of the island, You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. Little Bay is one of those beautiful but fun beaches that is not terribly crowded, even though its not far from some of Anguilla's best hotspots.

How to Access The Beach
This beach virtually impossible to access from the road. You can stand and look down from the cliffs for a stunning view, but if you want that sand between your toes, you'll need to be unusually agile and adventurous to climb down the side of the cliff. Or, just hire a fisherman from Crocus bay to take you there by boat. The fee is typically around $10 and the trip takes just 5 minutes.

Amenities and Ambiance

Little Bay is a small beach bordered by huge rock cliffs that are a striking contrast to the bright blue water and smooth white sand. It's a visual treat and it's not overly developed or busy.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. The water here is clear enough for snorkeling, so grab your gear if you want to see the underwater world.

Since Little Bay is of course found within a popular area that can get crowded, you might want consider the time when you plan your visit.

Little Bay is on Anguilla's East coast. It is near Savannah Gallery, which is located three quarters of a mile to the southeast, and it is one of a few favorite local destinations.

Museums and beaches may seem an odd combination to some, but a quite a few vacationers find that museums like Wallblake House (situated only a walk or a short cab ride away) offer rare insight into Caribbean life and help share a different side of Anguilla.

Little Bay is very close to the Valley, so touring the city could be a fun side-trip after visiting the beach. the Valley is the closest city and is in an area with plenty of worthwhile sites, while still remaining less developed and congested as some other places. From the shore, the Valley is a fairly short distance away, maybe a mile and a half (two kilometers).

The number of other people sharing spots in the sand can vary widely, depending on everything from the time of day to how full nearby hotel rooms are. There aren't many large hotels nearby, but it can appeal to guests from smaller lodgings in the area.

It's no problem if you start to get the munchies while hanging out at Little Bay; you'll have plenty of places to dine, without having to go too far. One of the nearest restaurants is Blue Bar & Brick Oven Pizza Restaurant. This restaurant has a menu featuring Italian cuisine. They also specialize in pizza. You could take a cab or probably walk to this restaurant since it's just a short distance away.

Travelers who like this beach might also enjoy Crocus Bay, situated just a short distance away. Others might prefer Katouche Bay Beach, which could provide more action, and isn't far from additional things to do and see nearby. You'll find it one and a quarter miles to the south-southwest.

Vacationers may also want to visit Limestone Bay Beach, which is located within a couple of miles.

Of course, there is much more to do besides lounge on the sand in Anguilla, but taking a swim at Little Bay is certainly a fun way to enjoy the area's natural attractions.
