Mount Irvine is a coastal village featuring a popular resort area. Still, the lovely Mount Irvine Bay Beach is rarely as crowded as one might imagine it should be due to its locale. Situated in Mt. Irvine, 2.1 miles northeast of Bon Accord, this beach is on the West edge of Tobago. You might want even if you aren't staying particularly close by. How to Access The Beach
Visitors can reach Mt. Irvine Beach via either the main road of Auchenskeoch Bucco Bay Road or several other smaller side roads. Paved parking surrounds the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

The tan sands of Mount Irvine Beach are lined with palm trees, sea grape trees, and quaint little gazebos. The waters are a gorgeous turquoise that are calm enough in the summer for snorkeling at the offshore reef, while in the winter the waves pick up for excellent surfing opportunities.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.

There are multiple beaches to discover on Tobago, of course, so if Mt. Irvine Beach doesn't sound like your type of scene, you have options.

You might also enjoy Pigeon Point, which is home to plenty of activity. It is located two and a half miles to the west. Tobago's most famous beach at which to spend the day is Pigeon Point on the northwest side. It offers guests a wide array of activities and amenities for their comfort and enjoyment. If you're looking for something a little more private, Store Bay could be a good option for you. It is located not far off the beach at all.

Travelers may also want to consider Back Bay, which is located within a couple of miles.

Of course, Trinidad and Tobago has hundreds of natural wonders to discover, but Mt. Irvine Beach is both a beautiful natural attraction, and a fun hangout spot.
