The small fishing village at Parlatuvier Beach on the north side of Tobago gives this small crescent-shaped beach a charming and rustic appeal. Watching and conversing with the agreeable locals is part of the fun, while swimming and jumping off the rocks delights many guests.

Positioned on the island of Tobago, Parlatuvier Beach is on the North East coast of the island, You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. When you need to spend the afternoon away from tourist-filled hotspots, you should venture a little farther from the city, and a little closer to Parlatuvier Beach.

How to Access The Beach
Parlatuvier Beach is located right along the main thoroughfare of Roxborough-Parlatuvier Road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Large rocks out in the sea keep the bay closed off and the waters calm for swimming, while jumping and diving off the far rocks are popular activities because the water's depth drops steeply. Back ashore, visitors can sink their toes into the white sands that line the beach.

There is also a great restaurant right on-site if you're interested; many find it the perfect, convenient solution for lunch. There are a lot of dining experiences to be had on Trinidad and Tobago, but eating a delicious meal on the beach can be a particularly memorable one. Ask your hotel about picnic lunches, as some hotels offer to pack snacks for their guests' day trips. Or, it would be easy to grab some hot food from a street vendor or casual cafe along the way.

There is also a snack bar here. You may also have the option to purchase food from one of the local vendors who set up shop at the beach.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline. Not many tourists frequent Parlatuvier Beach, whose visitors mainly consist of fishermen and local residents of this small village.

If you tend to go for coasts that offer those who visit a serene haven, then think about trying out Parlatuvier Beach; it's found within a more rural sector of Tobago.
