Other Beaches

Visitors in search of the perfect beach will have plenty of other choices on Tobago besides Plymouth Beach.

If the active mood at Plymouth Beach has you wanting more of the same, consider heading to King Peter's Bay Beach, another destination with a good amount of excitement. You'll find it three and a half miles to the northeast. If it's solitude and tranquility you're seeking, Mt. Irvine Beach is a beach removed from some more heavily-traveled spots. You'll find it a quick car or cab ride away.

Another sun-drenched spot to consider is Great Courland Bay, which is located a half mile to the south west. Great Cortland Bay, with its long sandy beach and populated area, is a favorite on Tobago for both tourists and locals who gravitate to the shore to play in the bright blue waters and watch for nesting sea turtles.

Plymouth Beach could be the ideal stretch of sand, but it is possible that it may not be the best choice for your family; if so, there are other beaches and natural attractions on Trinidad and Tobago you might like.
