Store Bay is located nearby a semi-popular resort area on the island of Tobago, and the crowds that reside there on a daily basis reflect this. Still, most visitors agree that everyone is respectful and friendly, and the crisp, calm waters are worth braving the small crowd.

Set in Crown Point, Store Bay is on the South West coast of Tobago. You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. If you prefer to escape the buzz of the city, it's good to know that Trinidad and Tobago has plenty of secluded beaches. This atmosphere is not for everyone, though. If you seek a fun and active spot, you're better off visiting Store Bay, one of the few beaches that draws a significant crowd.

How to Access The Beach
Store Bay is located at the Milford Road and Pigeon Point Road junction, where both meet and dead end just past Castles in the Wind resort.

Amenities and Ambiance

Store Bay is well groomed, with a man made rock ledge surrounding the beach, benches just beyond that, and palm trees, umbrellas, and several areas of landscaped grass along the shore. The sands themselves are powdery and tan, while the water is bright turquoise and known to be calm.

Of course, you could always try the shoreside restaurant right on Store Bay, which is the ultimate convenience for beachgoers. There all types of dining experiences on Trinidad and Tobago that visitors can partake in, but dining at the beach can be especially fun. With this in mind, you might ask your hotel if they offer to pack picnic lunches for their guests. Or, you could find just what you need from cafes and street vendors en route to the beach.

The snack bar here is the ultimate convenience if you need a cold drink, or something to hold you over until dinner. Depending on the season and time of day, you may also be able to order lunch from one of the mobile vendors who operate at or near this spot.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. Luckily, beach chairs will be available for use to visitors looking for a place to relax by the water. The water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so grab your equipment if you're hoping to find some interesting marine life.

Remember to take into account that the immediate vicinity around Store Bay is rather congested, so you may find quite a few people competing for the use of the same services.
