Apple Bay

During most of the year the waves are only around five to six feet. Though this beach is small, you will still find plenty of beach activities, especially when the surf is up. For the best surfing, visit Apple Bay in January and February. This beach is on the northwest shore of Tortola and guarantees a fun time for active beach goers or those who just want to sunbathe on soft sand.

You should think about stopping by even if you aren't staying nearby. While Apple Bay is not the most secluded beach in the Virgin Islands, it has just the right amount of private-feel to attract beachgoers.
