Cam Bay

One of the newest national parks in the British Virgin Islands, Cam Bay is a popular anchorage for yachters because of the well-kept marine atmosphere.

Cam Bay is encircled by forested area and cactus scrub.

One of the most popular pastimes at Cam Bay is birdwatching, due to the huge amount of migratory wading birds and shorebirds that nest here. These include, and are certainly not limited to, Rudy Ducks, Caribbean Coots, Black-Necked Stilts, Blue-Winges Teals, and American Coots.

Snorkeling is also great at this spot, with colorful reef fish flitting about and green turtles dining on sea grass.

Situated on the island of Great Camanoe, 6.7 miles northeast of downtown Road Town, Cam Bay always welcomes guests lodging on this part of the island or close by. Regardless of whether or not you're staying in this location, you should think about stopping by to check it out. From this location, Spanish Town is six and a half miles (ten and a half kilometers) to the east.
