Elizabeth Beach

Elizabeth Beach, located on the northern end of Tortola and directly in front of the Lambert Beach Resort, provides visitors with an expansive stretch of white sand. The clear waters can get rough depending on the time of day, though calm periods offer easy swimming, so be sure to plan ahead. Access is provided by local roads, which lead to a small parking area, or easily by foot for resort guests.

Located on the island of Tortola, 3.2 miles northeast of downtown Road Town, You might think about stopping by whether or not you are staying nearby. Vacationers will notice that, though Elizabeth Beach isn't considered a quiet and secluded part of the coast, it's also not one of the Virgin Islands' most crowded beaches. This makes it an excellent choice for travelers who want to visit a somewhat lively beach without having to fight other beachgoers for a spot in the sand.

How to Access The Beach

Access to the beach area is available for drivers and walkers. A local road which leads to the Lambert Resort offers a small parking area for non-guests.

Amenities and Ambiance

Elizabeth Beach offers its guests an incredible view, both of Lambert Bay and the nearby Guana island. Well-manicured palm trees and beach chairs dot the island, thanks to the large Lambert Resort, that rests a few yards south of the beach area. While the waters are shallow, swimming is only recommended at quieter times, as the bay can become quite dangerous at times.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun.
