Josiah's Bay Plantation

One of the most recently restored attractions in the British Virgin Islands is Josiah's Bay Plantation. Once a run down parcel of land, this spot now allows tourists to glimpse what plantation life was like on the islands during the 18th and 19th centuries.

There are four buildings for visitors to explore at the plantation. The first is the Great House, a spot that now houses an art and furniture gallery. The second is the old cookhouse, which was later a curing house as part of the property's rum distillery. Now, it is the kitchen for the Secret Garden Restaurant. Towards the back of the property is the original bathhouse, and a building for which its use is not yet known.
