Shark Bay National Park

Shark Bay National Park was donated to the National Parks Trust in 1999, and is the first coastal nature reserve and park along Tortola's north shore. The park spans 18.4 acres and is great for hikers looking for a beautiful view.

Shark Bay National Park features the rocky beach of Shark Bay, set between Brewers Bay and Rough Point.

At the top of the ridge accessible by trail is the Bat Cave, which is a reported bats nest of old. Though bats haven't been spotted here in quite some time, the trek is worth the view of the Atlantic Sea and rocky coast. Birders may encounter Brown Bobbies, Brown Pelicans, Laughing Gullas, the Magnificent Frigate Bird and Reseate Terns.
