The complete opposite of all of Jamaica's big resort towns, Treasure Beach is laid back, rustic, and quiet. Although it has been dubbed the next major development on the island, for now, it is a sleepy destination perfect for those who prefer to get away from the busyness of the rest of the island. In fact, to remain active here, you may have to take matters into your own hands, booking activities like spa treatments, sightseeing tours, or hiring a fishing boat to take you out for some deep sea fishing.
Despite having some prime fishing spots, Treasure Beach has not yet become a fishing-tourism hotspot. Still, you will find a few charters to take you out.
