Six miles of wide, sandy beaches with rocky shores and an abundance of privacy makes up the coastal scene of Treasure Beach. This area of the island is proud to avoid the hustle and bustle of the resort areas with its private coves that are rarely over-occupied. There are several public beaches in the immediate area, along with additional sandy stretches along the coast heading northwest toward Negril.
You will find several beaches to consider visiting in and around the area. Snorkeling is an option at some of the beaches, for people who are so inclined. Click on individual names for a detailed guide to that section of the coast.
Billy Bay: The shore of Billy Bay feature white to grey sands that are speckled with rocks and shells. Larger rocks line the edge of the beach, and sometimes make an appearance under water.
Another alternative to consider is Starve Gut Bay. This beach sits on Starve Guy Bay and is surrounded by interesting topography and cliffs. The sand is darker than the dazzling white sand found on the other side of the island but is soft and cool on your feet.
Parottee Bay: Because the shore of Parottee Bay goes on for quite a distance, there are some areas that are thinner stretches than others. No matter where you are, you'll encounter white sands, green trees, and topaz waters.
