At Blanchisseuse Beach, guests have the opportunity to see the giant, endangered leatherback turtles, for this is the beach where they settle during mating season. They don't come ashore until the middle of the night but, although they leave traces, visitors are asked not to touch their nests. The beach here is gorgeous, allowing visitors to spend the day along the glorious shore.

Located in Blanchisseuse, Blanchisseuse Beach is on the North coast of Trinidad. You might want whether or not you are staying particularly close by. The area surrounding the beach isn't very urbanized, but there is still plenty to do here.

Amenities and Ambiance

A perfect stretch of tan colored sand and gorgeous dark blue waters greet visitors to this tranquil and heavily secluded beach. Located at the edge of a rainforest, Blanchisseuse Beach's setting is absolutely breathtaking.

There is also a concession stand available. You may also have the option to buy food from one of the local vendors who typically set up at this spot.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. Blanchisseuse Beach is a bit out of the way for island guests and therefore remains relatively secluded. Tourists come out in small numbers to enjoy the beach and watch for turtles.
