Cedros Bay

Cedros Bay is located in the village of Cedros, on the island of Trinidad. The water here is typically calm with weak currents, though when the wind blows from the north or its been raining, it can become rough and choppy. During this time, swimming is discouraged because of the strong currents.

Positioned on the southwestern coast of the island of Trinidad, 1.5 miles west of Bonasse, You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. Cedros Bay stands out because it's one of the best spots for getting away from vacation stresses, like overly crowded restaurants and attractions. Other nearby beaches you'll come across on Trinidad and Tobago offer views of the sea that are just as pretty, but are usually busier because they border some of the area's most popular resorts.

How to Access The Beach
Cedros Bay is set on the Southwestern Peninsula, and can be accessed off of the Southern Main Road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Cedros Bay is a natural bay comprised of powdered white and tan sand with clear blue-green waters. The beach is lined with leafy almond and coconut trees, and a boardwalk stretches out into the sea.

Even if you plan to dine elsewhere, the snack bar on-site could come in handy. On some days, it may be possible to order lunch from one of the mobile vendors who operate at or near this spot.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

If you prefer sunny days which bring visitors a serene haven, then you may want to try Cedros Bay; it's back in a less urbanized sector of Trinidad.
