How to Reach Trois Ilets by Airplane

Your first stop along the way to Trois Ilets will be in the nearby town of Fort de France, which is home to the island's singular international airport.  Flights from around the world allow travelers to fly here with ease, although the chances that you'll have to book a flight that makes a stop elsewhere first is high.

While Martinique is not the top tourist destination in the Caribbean, the island's airport, Aimé Césaire Airport is still a very modern facility which features a 9,843 foot long asphalt runway, shopping, dining, banking facilities, and more.  To get to Trois Ilets you'll have to travel about another half an hour by car. 

Flying to Trois Ilets from the US

From the United States you can book a flight from Miami with either Air France or American Airlines to Martinique.  If that doesn't work for you, Boston and New York City also connect regularly through the airport on Puerto Rico

Flying to Trois Ilets from Canada

Air Canada is Canada's major air line, and if you're flying to the Caribbean from this country you can typically do so from Toronto.  Here, however, we find that Montreal (another French-speaking country) offers the most direct route to Martinique.

Flying to Trois Ilets from Europe

Air France offers daily flights from Paris every afternoon to Martinique.  You can also arrange a flight with Air Liberte, AOM, and Nouvelles Frotiers on occasion. 

Flying to Trois Ilets from the Caribbean

As you may have garnered  above, in most cases you will have to plan for a connecting flight to your getaway in Trois Ilets.  One of the best way to make this happen is to plan to make a stop on another island in the Caribbean and then switch to a regional airline for your final journey to Martinique.

Look below for air service from other airports in the region. Even if you can't take a flight directly from your preferred airport, a connecting flight from another Caribbean airport might be a great option.
