About two decades ago, a ship was purposely sunk just off the coast of Trois Ilets specifically so that it may later be used as a dive site.  This site is the Nahoon Shipwreck and today it is one of the top scuba diving sites on Martinique.  You can get there in about 15 minutes by boat from town, and the depth is 40 feet under, making it a reasonable dive even for those who are relatively new to the sport.

There are 5 dive operators and a small number of interesting dive sites to choose from.

A second option is Calypso Plongee. David, an experienced introductory and lover of scuba diving for more than 20 years, is in charge of Calypso Plongee. If you're intrigued by the sport, this is a great place to learn about it. They can be reached at (069) 645-0425.
