Just past the popular Xel Ha Park (snorkelers cannot get enough of this place!) are the Xel Ha ruins, a small and mostly unexplored Maya playground.

The lagoon at Hel Ha was once used as a Maya port of call, keeping the local people connected with the rest of the world. Today, visitors can explore this sleepy site in less than an hour.
