Osprey Beach

Right in front of Osprey Beach Hotel is the beautiful Osprey Beach. Despite the fact that the most frequent visitors are hotel guests, the beach is in fact open to the public and offers a great chance to snorkel with vibrant tropical fish and you may even catch a glimpse of an octopus.

Located near the middle of Cockburn Town, Osprey Beach is on the South West coast of Grand Turk. You might want to drop by regardless of whether you are staying in the immediate vicinity. While Osprey Beach is not the most secluded beach in Turks and Caicos, it has the right combination of city atmosphere and natural beauty to attract families and couples alike.

How to Access The Beach
Visitors can access Osprey Beach from Duke Street a main, paved road that leads to Osprey Beach Hotel.

Amenities and Ambiance

Osprey Beach enjoys sugar white sand that is well cared for so that it is appealing to hotel guests. The sand leads up to bright blue waters that are shallow and clear enough that you can often see to the bottom. As a lovely addition, palm trees dot the landscape, giving it that extra feel of island paradise.

You could always try the restaurant right on the water, if it suits your taste. There are so many unique restaurants in Turks and Caicos, but you don't have to eat every meal in a formal setting. Some visitors, in fact, have lunch right on their towels in the sand. Sometimes, hotels offer to pack up on-the-go lunches for their guests. Or, it would be easy to grab some hot food from a street vendor or casual cafe along the way.

The concession stand at this spot is also an option.

There are public restrooms at this beach——something you'll appreciate if you bring the kids along. Fortunately, the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so bring your gear if you're wanting to check out the underwater sites.

Bear in mind that the immediate vicinity around Osprey Beach is a popular spot, so the availability of certain amenities is likely to be affected.
