Banana Tree Grille, a part of Bluebeards Castle, is situated just beyond the the center of Charlotte Amalie. It's worth noting that within the genre of food with eclectic flair, this place is especially proud of their seafood and steak.
The Banana Tree Grille cooks to order dozens of tasty and juicy entrees. These include Angus Beef from New Zealand, veal, mahi-mahi, roasted chicken, and many other traditional dishes. As you can see, just because this is a steakhouse does not mean it can only cook steaks. With as many seafood options as beef, their selections such as orange ginger ahi-tuna and crab imperial stuffed grouper are some of the local favorites.

After dinner, do not forget to try their famous Key Lime Pie or a glass of dessert wine.

Palms at Pelican Cove is located 2.0 miles northwest of downtown Christiansted; it is two miles (three and a half kilometers) to the west-northwest of Christiansted. Pleasantly surprising, this dining destination is not just eclectic cooking and their signature staple of seafood, but it's also good at steak.
While breakfast (continental) and lunch (lite offerings like sandwiches and burgers), dinner is really a show stopper. American dishes with a Caribbean twist are available, including a char-broiled ribeye that is so delicious it has been voted the Best Steak on St. Croix.

Beachcomber Bar and Grill, which is on the premises of Island Beachcomber Hotel, is a logical selection for travelers thinking about going to this part of the island; it's two and a half miles (four kilometers) to the west of Charlotte Amalie. Though they're broadly known for eclectic culinary creations, the kitchen at Beachcomber Bar and Grill serves up an awful lot of appetizers and barbecue.
Expect a peaceful ambiance, where dining takes place out on a covered patio at tables with upscale patio furniture. Because the restaurant edges the beach, the view is of the sand and sea, lined with blue beach chairs and coconut palms.

Twisted Cork Cafe is located in Frenchtown, a neighborhood on St. Thomas; 0.9 miles to the west of Charlotte Amalie. Though they're broadly known for eclectic culinary creations, this visitor favorite will recommend their best: seafood and tapas.
Utilizing local produce -- even some plucked fresh from the on-site garden -- and seafood, this spot also bakes all of its breads and desserts daily.

Located 0.3 miles southeast of downtown Cruz Bay, Sam & Jack's Deli is a popular choice worth considering if you're exploring this town and areas nearby. Sure to please everyone, Sam & Jack's Deli isn't just eclectic cuisine and pasta, but here they're also quite the favorite for sandwiches.
Specialty Sandwiches are available either hot or cold, or you can put together your own creation by mixing and matching any of their house-roasted meats, huge cheese selection and seemingly endless vegetables and house-made condiments. After a long day on the beach, stop by for a glass of their famous sangria, a cold beer, or the wine of the month while you peruse the grab'n'go dinners.

Entrees change daily, and some favorites include fusilli pasta with wild mushrooms and truffle cream sauce, roasted chicken, lobster mac'n'cheese, baby back ribs, turkey pot pies and several varieties of freshly made ravioli that you can take back to your villa with a bottle of wine (best prices on the island!).
