Bahia Yoye is in thearea, so walking the city is a definite option. Vieques Town is nearby and is not an overly urbanized area, but still has its fair share of things to do. From Bahia Yoye, Vieques Town is a car ride off, about seven miles (11 and a half kilometers) away.
Whether or not you encounter many other people will depend on many factors, including the capacity of nearby hotels. The area is not home to many major hotels, but it can appeal to guests from some of the smaller accommodations in the area.
Guests hoping to find a room close to Bahia Yoye shouldn't find it very difficult, as there are plenty of hotels and resorts to pick from in the immediate vicinity. Find the closest, most convenient booking options by viewing those shown in the table that follows.

You might not find any places to eat in the immediate surroundings of this shore, so it would be a good idea to pack a lunch if you want to fully enjoy your time spent at the beach.
Visitors searching for the perfect beach will have plenty of other choices on Vieques besides Bahia Yoye.
Travelers who like this beach might also enjoy Naguabo Beach, located 25 and a half miles to the west. On the other hand, Bahia Fanduca offers a few more possibilities for excitement, and isn't far from other tourist hot-spots. It's located a quarter mile to the south-southwest.
Another location you may want to try is Esperanza Beach, which is located nine miles to the west.
