Located off Puerto Rico's east coast, Vieques is a small island known for its natural and quiet atmosphere. Many tourists plan trips to visit the island for at least a day, but full-fledged getaways are popular as well. Whatever your purpose, the ferry service out of Fajardo is a great way to get to this unassuming island.

Each ferry has room for between 200 and 600 passengers, yet they still manage to fill up so quickly that it is recommended that passengers arrive at least an hour in advance to make sure they have a seat.
