Socially responsible and focused on education as well as enjoyment, this dive center takes guests both diving and snorkeling off the coast of Vieques. Owned by Arnaud Erhart and Tania Puell, this small owner-operated business focuses on serious dive education and experience along with customer service.

Cost and Offerings

A full selection of PADI certification courses are offered by the team at Isla Nena for both beginners and those with a few levels of certification under their belt. With a little bit of training, you can get out on the water, and participate in a one or two tank dive, as well as special sunrise and night dives.

For certified divers, the offerings include Refresher, Full Scuba Review, 2-Tank Shore Entry, 2-Tank Boat Dive, 1-Tank Afternoon Shore Entry, 1-Tank Afternoon Boat Dive, 1-Tank Night Dive and 1-Tank Sunrise Dive.

Their Discover Snorkeling & Scuba is a half day excursion, allowing snorkelers and scuba divers to explore the ocean. This introductory course helps ease the transition to exploring underwater, as well as serving as an exciting adventure.

Two-tank dives are just $75 off the shore. They cost $120 off the boat. Dive tours, refresher courses and PADI certification courses are also offered. For example, if you're curious about diving and would like to give it a try, their Discover Scuba half-day introductory course is just $160, including two tanks. Discover Snorkeling & Scuba costs $140.
