Located on the island of Vieques, Navio Beach is on the South West coast of the island, You might think about stopping by whether or not you're staying particularly close by. How to Access The Beach
Navio Beach can be accessed through the Sun Bay facilities. Once you enter Sun Bay, take a left, where you will find signs for Navio as the road comes to an end. The road leading up to Navio Beach is muddy and rough, and a vehicle with good suspension such as a jeep is highly recommended.

Amenities and Ambiance

Navio Beach is edged by tropical palms and sea grape plants, and flanked by two rocky cliffs. The waters are a bright turquoise, and the sand is soft and white.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

This pleasant stretch of sand known as Navio Beach is on the South West coast of Vieques. It is near Puerto Ferro Lighthouse, which is found a mile and a half to the east, and it is one of a few favorite destinations in the area.

If you're interested in learning more about the history of Puerto Rico, some of the nearby attractions offer a historical perspective of the country. One of the nearest historical attractions is Fortín Conde De Mirasol, which is four miles to the north.
