Playa Branca

If you want to discover more interesting facts about the history of Puerto Rico, many sites offer unique historical perspectives on the area. The nearest historical attraction is Fortín Conde De Mirasol, which is ten and a half miles away.

Though it's some distance off Fajardo, just about 27 and a half miles away, is the closest populated region. although you may find some smaller residential areas nearer to the beach.


Whether this spot is full of bodies or practically empty will depend on how many hotel guests decide to make the trip as well.

You shouldn't anticipate finding any of Puerto Rico's popular hotels close to this beach, but if you're hoping to evade masses of vacationers, the shortage of accommodation possibilities should be welcomed.


You might not run into any places to grab a bit to eat in the immediate surroundings of this beach, so you might want to pack a lunch if you want to fully enjoy your day in the sun.

Other Beaches

Vacationers looking for a beach that's right for them will have lots of choices besides Playa Branca.

Another location you might enjoy is Naguabo Beach, located 29 miles to the west. More active guests, though, may be interested in Bahia Salinas, which could provide more action, and isn't far from nearby attractions. It's found one and an eighth miles to the west.

Vacationers may also want to visit El Gallito, located 13 miles to the west.
