On the north shore of Virgin Gorda, Angilla Point has warm cerulean waters and a great lookout spot. Enjoy swimming in shallow waters or snorkeling at this beach. There are rock formations that add detail to the blanket of soft white sand that coats the beach.
Located on the island of Virgin Gorda, 1.3 miles northwest of Santu Patia, Angilla Point is on the South West coast of the island, You should think about stopping by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. There are plenty of advantages to visiting a beach that isn't packed full of hotel guests; the lovely, less-traveled shores of beaches like Angilla Point are perfect when you need a break from the typical tourist scene.
Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.
The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on the South West coast of Virgin Gorda. It is near, which is located four and a half miles to the south-southwest, and it is among the the area's interesting attractions.

Angilla Point is close to Spanish Town, so you can explore the city after your visit to the beach. Nearby, you'll find the city of Spanish Town, which is in an area with interesting things to do and see, but isn't as sprawling and crowded as some other areas. From Angilla Point, Spanish Town isn't far off, maybe four and a half miles (seven kilometers).
How many other people you encounter at Angilla Point will depend on many factors, including the capacity of nearby hotels. This beach is not near many large hotels, but it's often visited by visitors staying at the few small lodgings in the area.

If someone in your group starts to get a little hungry at the beach, it's alright because there are lots of nearby options when it comes to dining. One of the nearest restaurants is The Cove. This restaurant serves International food. They are also known for serving hamburgers and pizza. You could take a cab or probably walk to this restaurant as it's just a short distance away.

Of course, you'll find plenty of other beaches on Virgin Gorda, so Angilla Point is not your only option.
Another location you might enjoy is Leverick Bay, situated within a mile or so. On the other hand, Long Bay Virgin Gorda could provide more action, and is closer to additional things to do and see nearby. It's found three quarters of a mile to the west-southwest.
Another option worth considering is Mahoe Bay, which is located within a couple of miles. The perfect strip of white sand at Mahoe Bay Beach drops into a blue lagoon surrounded by coral reefs. Perfect for swimming and snorkeling, this casual beach is also a wonderful spot for lounging in tranquility along its shores. With villas and a restaurant close by, Mahoe Bay offers everything to guests for their comfort.
Of course, there are lots of other things to do and see in the Virgin Islands; then again, Angilla Point is both a refreshing place to relax, and a beautiful natural attraction.
