Spring Bay National Park

Just east of one of Virgin Gorda's most popular attractions, the Baths, is Spring Bay. Established in 1964 as a National Park, this spot is favored for snorkeling and picnicking.

Because Spring Bay is a protected area, the marine life here is fantastic. This makes it a great spot for snorkeling. Those uninterested in snorkeling with find a little cove enclosed by boulders called The Crawl, which was once used to hold sea life by fishermen until they were ready to be sold in order to ensure absolute freshness. The well-manicured lawn that leads up to the sand is a great place to plan a picnic lunch and allow young kids to run free and get some energy out, as swings have recently been added to the property.

Spring Bay National Park lies on the southwestern side of the island of Virgin Gorda, 5.9 miles south west of Leverick Bay; it's one and a quarter miles (two kilometers) to the south-southwest of Spanish Town.
