Activities and Recreation at Virgin Island Campground

While staying active is one way to enjoy your vacation, it's not necessary to have a wonderful time on Water Island, the Virgin Islands. So, although Virgin Island Campground does not have the most impressive range of recreational activities, it might still provide precisely the type of setting you're looking for.

Though this lodge doesn't have a swimming pool on its property, this hasn't deterred guests from staying here. Visitors who want to relax by the water usually set aside time to discover some of the pretty beaches on Water Island instead. The nearest beach to Virgin Island Campground is Honeymoon Beach. You will, however, find a whirlpool at this location.


Although Virgin Island Campground doesn't have a golf course on the property, the on-site staff may be able to assist you in scheduling a tee time nearby. There are a couple of nice courses within traveling distance of Virgin Island Campground. These are Mahogany Run Public Golf Course and Herman E. Moore Golf Course. The nearest of these is Herman E. Though watersports are not available here, they do offer water-bound visitors some excellent snorkeling opportunities.

Family Activities

Although travelers can bring their kids to Virgin Island Campground, there aren't many family-friendly amenities. To see options with more amenities for kids, you might want to consider properties rated best for family vacations.

Entertainment and Nightlife

If you want easy access to the hottest after-hours hangouts and several live shows to choose from, this probably isn't the ideal property for you. The lodge tends to be pretty quiet at night.

In fact, you won't find any bars or nightclubs on-site at this lodge, so you'll sleep happily--without crowds of partying guests to wake you.
