Ocean Encounters at the Sunscape

Snorkeling trips are combined with the one tank boat diving trips in the afternoon; this works well for groups who have divers and non-divers. Snorkeling trips are available for those who want to see the wonders of underwater from the surface.

An afternoon snorkeling trip that is offered takes guests to Director's Bay, which has a combination of beach and reef snorkeling. This dive site is an old decaying shark fence that is now covered in sponges and corals and a large octopus calls this bay home. Then there is the tugboat trip, where guests can visit the tugboat just a few yards offshore in a protected bay. Blue parrot fish and yellow tail snappers are often seen at this dive site; snorkeling lasts for about 45 minutes.
