Easy access to the second largest barrier reef in the world makes Xpu Ha a great destination for scuba divers. There are a small number of dive sites in the town that specialize in open water drift diving, allowing visitors to both train and experience the beauty of the underwater world during their Caribbean getaway.
There are 3 dive services and at least 7 different dive sites in the area.
If you're ready to go diving, you can check with Bahia Divers. While Tulum is best known for its cenote diving, Bahia Divers offers a little bit of everything from PADI training to open water diving, and yes, of course, trips to those beloved cenotes. They are found in the heart of Xpu Ha.
A second option is Dressel Divers Puerto Aventuras. In addition to offering ocean dives, there are many freshwater caverns that divers can explore in Pureto Aventuras. Cenotes (Caven) Diving Excursions and Cozumel Diving Excursions are offered every day except Sundays. You can reach them at (+34) 963 561 496.
