Coba Ruins

The Coba Ruins are the site of the primary Maya city in the region before 1000 AD. This site, is more spread out than other Maya cities, and archaeologist have not made much effort to reconstruct the city, so guests will really have the feeling of exploring a lost city.


Visitors to the Coba Ruins will have no trouble exploring all the pyramids, shrines, and temples located throughout the ancient city.

You may enjoy staying in the Riviera Maya if you plan on visiting Coba Ruins, since travelers to this area of the Yucatan Peninsula will have convenient access to the historical site during their time there. Lavazza Cafe is a great restaurant to eat at before your day at Coba Ruins, and is the most convenient option for visitors to it. Lavazza Cafe is just about a half mile from this landmark, so grab a table and enjoy a meal. El Faison and La Sazon Mexicana are some more refreshment choices nearby. At La Sazon Mexicana you and your party can try a bite of Mexican meals and enjoy the culture of the Yucatan Peninsula.
