The Macanxoc Group

The Macanxoc Group is a trail through the jungle lined with tablet shaped pillars that are said to tell the tale of the Maya people. It is hard to be certain, however, because the tablets are too weathered to be deciphered.

The Riviera Maya is a good option for those wishing to visit The Macanxoc Group, because those staying in this area of the Yucatan Peninsula will be pleased to have easy site access during their visit. With only a small number of accommodations in the neighborhood within the vicinity of this historical site, only moderate tourist traffic can be predicted.

Location and What's Nearby

When your stomach being to growl, you will find at least a few restaurants and bars close-by. The most frequented nearby eatery is Lavazza Cafe, an ideal eatery to eat at on your way to visiting this historical site. The restaurant is a short distance off, but out of the way enough that you will need to plan on having a particular type of transport to travel there. Also within a short distance, you and your group will find restaurants including El Faison and La Sazon Mexicana where you and your companions may try a bit of Mexican fare and experience the Yucatan Peninsula culture.
