For a real taste of life in the Yucatan Peninsula, try sinking your teeth into a local favorite.
There is one restaurant at Villas Ecotucan, so guests can sample fresh local favorites without leaving the villa complex.
Each day begins with a regional breakfast that also include eggs, cereal, and local fruit. This meal is included in the coast of your stay. Dinner is an extra expense and is served under a thatch-roof palapa with a view of the lagoon. Meals are made from fresh, local products and are in the Caribbean style. The chef is, however, happy to make meals for vegetarians and specialty diets when given advance notice.
If you enjoy exploring local restaurants, you may have to take a taxi to see a wider range of choices.
